Sunday... Kuta area

Sunday.. our second day in Bali.. we started the day with a nice breakfast at the Oasis Kuta hotel as soon as we were done with our breakfast.. we prepared ourselves to walked around Kuta Area.... we started from the hotel going south on Bakung Sari and turned left to walk toward the Bali Bomb Memorial Park..... we were here last year but it was quite dark so we didn't see it properly.... So .. we took a few pictures and then walked again taking shortcuts into Jl. Poppies or better known as Poppies lane toward the Beach....

During our walk we stopped by a couple of times to see things that the street vendors were selling.. I stopped for a nice white lace shirt but cant find anything that fits so instead I bought a few roxy shirts... we bargained hard.. the lady selling this shirts open the price at 90.ooo each... after a hard bargain.. I bought it for 50.ooo.. wish could get it cheaper.. Alex bought a shirt for 20.ooo after bargaining from 40.ooo...

After that.. we walked to Kuta Beach.. it was around 10am... the beach was still empty... so we took a long walk by the beach line from Kuta Paradiso until we passed Hard Rock Cafe... sweating like two maniacs.. we decided to end our stroll ended up walking back with a wet shorts.. honestly .. we were wet because stupidly.. we didn't take off our shorts eventhough we were wearing swimsuits underneath of our clothes... So we walked and sit a few minutes by the shades to drink some water (it's really important that you have a bottled water in hand when you're out in the sun... you will be sweating a lot and become dehydrated if you don't have enough water to drink.... After that we walked to Matahari.. to buy more water and also a box of Ultra Milk Chocolate and we dropped off the drinks and alex change shirts before we go out again to find lunch.

So after cooling off our bodies in the airconed room.. we dropped by in the spa room in the Hotel... to book an appointment for an hour massage. They got a package for a couple that was only 110.ooo/couple for 1 hour massage.. watta great deal.. we also got a free 1/2 hour massage package from the hotel by booking through honeymoon.com... so in total we got 1.5 hours.... WOW... so we hurried ourselves out in the sun again to have lunch and get ready for the massage because the only time slot available was 2 o'clock...

So after passing a long array of cafes and restaurants near Waterboom... we came back to find a good meal that is not too long to wait... So we decided to have Japanese restaurant.. the restaurant is not too big.. it was great .. and more over it has aircon... GREAT!!! so ... after we were sitted.. we ordered our meals.. Alex had a Chicken Katsu Don.. and I had Tempura Don... When the food came.. It was great....The meals were perfect.. It is one of the best Japanese food I've ever had.... compared with Sushi Tei ... Sushi Tei is beginner level and this is ADVANCE :D

We hurried back to the hotel.. we didn't want to miss our appointment... so we had our massage.. a really good one.. and it was really private because it's a hotel's spa its not too big and we have the place for our own. After about 1 hour massage... the ladies prepare the bathtub for us.. we heard the water running while she's massaging us... So when the water is ready... she asked us to take a dip in the water... the tub is enormous.. it was gigantic enough for 3 people bathing together ... it was great.. really inspired me that one day I would like to install one in my own house iheiheihhieihee...

After that.. we want to take a nap... but feeling so relaxed and refresh after that massage... we can't sleep .. so we went into the pool and did a couple of laps and took a shower... After that.. we were out in the beach again.... on the way out we took a picture of Alex and both of us near the pool..

This afternoon the beach is very crowded.. there were thousands of people in the beach.. it was really crowded so we avoided the beach and look for a quiet place to watch sunset in Kuta...
So .. we decided to sit in Miko cafe across Hard Rock cafe and had a cup of coffee waiting for the sunset.. the coffee wasn't to nice.... but the place is great.. after that cup of coffee we walked to Warung Made to have dinner.. the place is packed full... wonder why.. we tried Warung Made in Legian last year and wonder if this one is better... So Alex ordered nasi campur.. and he was very dissapointed... I had nasi goreng Ala Made....well.. I had better!!

Went home still hungry Alex stopped by a little cafe to get a hamburger to go and eat them in the room ... well.. it was a great day afterall.
